Over the past 30 years, Katherine Foster has been dedicated to bridging sustainable development and humanitarian issues with innovative partnerships, policy initiatives, entrepreneurship programs and technology. As a former Canadian diplomat she advised on and lead initiatives related to conflict and post-conflict situations under the International Human Security Network. She also served as the Canadian Representative on Climate Change to the USA and International Community. For the past four years Katherine served as Development and Innovation Lead with the EU’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Initiative, developing education, entrepreneurship and innovation partnerships, programs and startups across Europe and served as an advisor to the UNDP Accerate2030 program and to a number of startups. She moved to Washington in August as the Director of FinTech4Good Headquartered in Washington D.C. and continues as Executive Director of Blockchain Labs for Open Collaboration (BLOC) which is headquartered in Copenhagen.
