Nominated two times in a row by Forbes as one of the top 30 under 30 Social Entrepreneur in 2016 and 2017, Joséphine is a hacktivist for migrants and refugees' inclusion in Europe. As CEO of Techfugees, the international non-profit coordinating the tech community' response to the refugee situation, Josephine promotes the use of mobile & new digital technologies to empower the displaced and provide them access to information, employment, and education. Techfugees is present in 25 countries through volunteers and has organized more than 45 hackathons in just 2 years, summarised by a first Global Summit this October 2017 in Paris. She advises the EU commission as an informal expert on immigration, and in the past help build the London based tech startup Migreat helping migrants access information to apply for visas to Europe, and the Paris based startup YBorder moving tech talent across borders.
